Matic: United Fighting For Top Four Finish

Nemanja Matic believes Manchester United are in the right position and the frame of mind to battle for a top four finish.

Manchester United started the season on the back foot and looked like they had been left behind, however, the appointment of Solskjaer, following the sacking of Mourinho has changed the team’s outlook.

The Red Devils have won seven games in a row and now sit three points outside of the top four, and Matic believes they can finish in the Champions League spot.

“In the Premier League, it’s always hard,” Matic said.

“We will try to give our best to reach the top four until the end of the season.

“The teams in front of us have quality and they will also try to play in the Champions League next season.

“But I’m sure that we have enough qualities to compete with them.

“We will give our best and we will try to make our supporters happy.”
